SEARCY – Jacob Giles, a 6-1, 200-pound left-handed pitcher from Paragould, Ark., signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent on Friday and will join the Harding University baseball team for the 2009 season.
Giles has a 4-2 record at Greene County Tech, who begins play at the Arkansas Class 5A State Tournament today. He will enter the tournament with an incredible 72 strikeouts and only four walks.
