Micah Canterbury landed four of his nine punts inside the OBU 20.
Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Harding University junior punter/placekicker Micah Canterbury was named Gulf South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.

Canterbury is the first punter/placekicer to claim honors this season, leading HU's special teams units as the Bisons spoiled No. 20 Ouachita Baptist's Homecoming 21-7.  The junior punted a season-high nine times for 325 yards and a 36.1 average.  He also placed four punts inside the Tigers' 20-yard line as OBU had only one punt return in the contest.  The Marysville, Ohio, native also converted all three of his point-after kick attempts.

Canterbury is the first Harding punter to receive GSC Special Teams Player of the Week honors in the 10 seasons that the Bisons have been members of the conference.
