Lady Bison Soccer Falls to Belhaven, 3-0

JACKSON, Miss. – The Harding women’s soccer team fell 3-0 to host team Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss., on Friday in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 3-9-2 on the season.
In the 19th minute of play, Nicole Trawick received a pass from Christin Kaim to put Belhaven up 1-0. Eleven minutes later, Belhaven would go up 2-0 when Dana Sullivan received a cross from Kimber Dear for the goal. Belhaven took the 2-0 lead into halftime.
In the 77th minute, Belhaven would seal the win when Trawick scored for her 12th goal of the season.
Harding outshot Belhaven 11-6 in the match. The Lady Bisons had seven shots on goal.
The Lady Bisons will continue Gulf South Conference action Sunday hosting Christian Brothers at First Security Stadium at 1 p.m.
