Lady Bison Soccer Ends Season with Tie

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Harding women’s soccer team concluded their season Sunday as they tied host team Ouachita Baptist 1-1 in Gulf South Conference action. The Lady Bisons ended with a 3-10-4 overall record and a 1-4-2 GSC record.
Both teams played hard in the first half and it looked like they were going to take a 0-0 tie into halftime but with 35 seconds left to play, Beth Wendl received a pass from Sarah McKinney to put OBU on top 1-0.
The Harding offense kept pressing the OBU defense looking for a goal, the Lady Bisons finally got the equalizer in the 71st minute with Brianna Meek found the top right corner of the net off a Meghan Przeczewski pass.
Meek led the Lady Bisons with eight shots; five of them were on goal.
Due to the sun setting the game didn’t go into overtime.
The Lady Bisons outshot the Lady Tigers, 19-9
