SEARCY - The Harding University football team will take on its second straight top-10 opponent of the season Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. against third-ranked North Alabama at First Security Stadium in Searcy, Ark.

Game Notes
  • Harding is playing its second straight nationally-ranked opponent and is looking for its first win over a ranked foe since 2005.
  • Harding is taking on UNA coach Terry Bowden for the second time. Bowden coached Samford when the schools met in 1991.
  • Harding enters the game with the 10th-ranked passing offense in Division II. Quarterback Josh Powell leads the GSC in passing yards per game and total offense per game.
  • Harding senior defensive back Josh Jones leads the GSC in interceptions (2) and passes defended (6). Jones has had 26 tackles in the last two games and ranks fifth in the GSC with 9.0 tackles per game.
  • Harding is under the direction of third-year head coach Ronnie Huckeba, who has a 9-14 overall record.
  • The Bisons were picked to finish ninth in the 11-team Gulf South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. Harding senior wide receiver Kurt Adams was named to the Preseason All-GSC Team.
