Harding Indoor Track Teams to Compete at Central Missouri

Bisons and Lady Bisons in action at the Mule Relays.

WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Harding indoor men's and women's track teams, both ranked No. 4 in the NCAA Division II South Region Rankings, resume action Friday and Saturday at the Mule Relays, hosted by the University of Central Missouri. The women's events are Friday, and the men's events are Saturday.

The Lady Bisons will have three athletes competing in the field events. Tiffany Chambers is entered in the pole vault, Dia Gibson in the high jump, and Rhiannon Roper and Stephanie Zibulsky in the shot put.

Harding will send out as many as seven athletes in the running events. Three Lady Bisons are scheduled to run the mile--Katy Grant, Laura Willis and Courtney Ralston. Callie McAlister is running the 400 meter dash. Rysper Sirma, Rachel Conley and Naomi Landecker will run the 800 meters. Willis is also entered in the 3000 meters, and the team of Sirma, McAlister, Landecker and Grant will compete for Harding in the distance medley relay.

Women's field events begin at 1:30 p.m. with the running events starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, the men's field events will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the running events starting at 3 p.m.

The Bisons have entered four in the field events. Richard Glenn will compete in the triple jump, Josh Winslager in the pole vault, Blake Arnold in the high jump and Logan Callier in the shot put.

Callier and Matt Voss will open the running events for Harding in the 60-meter hurdles. Milton Stewart will run the 60-meter dash. The Bisons will have a strong contingent of Daniel Kirwa, Philip Biwott and Manase Busienei in the mile. Voss and Cory Howard will run in the 400 meters. Frank Bolling and Ryan Johnson will run the 800 meters, and Arnold and Stewart will go in the 200 meters.

Harding will close out the meet with Johnson, Arnold, Bolling and Busienei competing for the Bisons in the distance medley relay.
