Kansas Relays: HU 4x400 Reaches Finals

SEARCY – Harding’s 4x400-meter relay team of Frank Bolling, Milton Stewart, Kory Howard and Blake Arnold placed seventh in the finals at the prestigious Kansas Relays on Saturday.
The quartet qualified for the finals with a time of 3:17.97 in Friday’s preliminary race. They improved to 3:17.11 in the finals. The team previously posted an NCAA provisional time and is on the bubble for an invitation to nationals.
Harding’s 4x100-meter team placed 10th of 24 teams on Friday with a time of 42.61.
Harding also had two athletes compete at the Memphis (Tenn.) Invitational. Justin Durham placed ninth in the 800 meters in 1:58.22, and Brad Furlong was seventh in the 400 meters in 58.54.
