Harding's top two players named All-Conference

Marco and Henrique Ruiz played No. 1 doubles for Harding.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Harding tennis’ brother duo of Marco and Henrique Ruiz was named All-Gulf South Conference on Wednesday by a vote of the conference’s coaches.
Marco, a senior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, became only the 15th men’s tennis player in GSC history to earn All-GSC honors for the fourth time. He compiled a 7-3 singles record this season and has a 37-14 career singles mark.
Henrique, a sophomore, played Harding’s No. 1 singles position and had a 5-9 overall record. It was his second All-GSC honor. Henrique has a 17-14 career singles record.
The Ruiz’s played No. 1 doubles together for the Bisons and had a 4-7 record.
Harding is 14-7 overall this season and ranked No. 10 in the NCAA South Region. The Bisons are still alive for an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament.
