SEARCY - The Harding men's tennis team expects to receive a bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament tonight at 6 p.m. as the NCAA announces the 64-team field live.
Harding compiled a 14-7 record this season and was ranked No. 10 in the most recently NCAA II South Region Rankings. The top 12 teams in the South Region advance to the national tournament.
If the Bisons qualify for the tournament, it will be the ninth time David Elliott's squad has made it to nationals.
The Harding women had a 23-7 record, the most victories by a Lady Bison tennis team in program history, but were not ranking in the latest South Region Rankings. They are not expected to receive a bid to the national tournament. Only the top 10 women's teams in the South Region advance.
