Audrey Adkison

AT HARDING
Audrey Adkison was hired as the head women’s soccer coach at Harding University in December 2025. A former Lady Bison standout and conference champion, Adkison returned to Searcy after establishing herself as one of the top young coaches in Division I soccer.

BEFORE HARDING
Adkison joined the Harding staff following three seasons at Abilene Christian University, where she served as Associate Head Coach and Director of Recruiting. During her tenure in Abilene (2023-2025), Adkison was recognized nationally for her leadership and coaching acumen. She was named a United Soccer Coaches "30 Under 30" honoree in 2024 and was voted the United Soccer Coaches Faith-Based Coach of the Year in 2023. She also earned recognition as the 2023-24 ACU Assistant Coach of the Year and the 2025 Abilene Tri-College FCA Coach of the Year.

At ACU, Adkison oversaw recruiting, game planning, and spiritual development, helping lead the Wildcats in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).

Prior to her time at ACU, Adkison spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Liberty University (2019-2023). She was instrumental in guiding the Flames to back-to-back ASUN Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022, as well as an appearance in the 2021 NCAA National Tournament. working under ASUN Coach of the Year Lang Wedemeyer.

Adkison began her collegiate coaching career at the University of Central Arkansas (2016-2018). She helped lead the Bears to Southland Conference championships in both 2016 and 2018. Throughout her time as an assistant, she coached 27 All-Conference selections, six All-Region players, and two Conference Goalkeepers of the Year.

PLAYING CAREER
As a student-athlete at Harding (2012-2015), Adkison was a dominant midfielder and a two-year team captain. She played a pivotal role on the 2015 squad that captured both the Great American Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles. Adkison was a three-time All-GAC selection and an NSCAA All-Region honoree. She ranks among Harding's career leaders in assists (23) and games started (76).

EDUCATION
Adkison holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Class B License and a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Harding in 2016 and earned a Master of Exercise Science from the University of Central Arkansas in 2018.
