In his 10th year back at Harding, Nathan Looney is a 2006 graduate of Harding University where he earned a degree in interactive media.
Looney, a native of Springfield, Missouri, began his sports information career as a student worker in the Harding sports information office, working four-and-a-half years primarily with the football and basketball teams.
During his time as a student worker, Looney also served three seasons as the official statistician for the Arkansas RimRockers professional basketball team in Little Rock.
Following graduation, Looney spent a year as an intern under Antoine Bell at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, where he was the soccer, women’s basketball, tennis and softball contact.
After one year at UAH, Looney moved back to Searcy to join the Harding Sports Information staff.
His primary responsibilities in the sports information office include serving as the primary contact for Harding’s women’s athletic teams. Looney also manages Harding’s athletic photographs, produces highlights packages and is the department's graphic designer.
Looney is married to former Laura Ashley, also a Harding graduate. The couple have a son named Bennett.
