Hello Bison fans and welcome to this week's HardingSports.com Podcast.

We will begin with the Harding women's basketball team, who defeated ninth-ranked Arkansas Tech 77-69 on Monday at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville. It was an historic victory for Tim Kirby's Lady Bisons.

The victory snapped Arkansas Tech's 42-game home winning streak, the longest active streak in Division II. It was Harding's first-ever victory in 28 meetings against Arkansas Tech in Russellville. Additionally, it was Harding's second-ever road win against a nationally-ranked team and first since the Lady Bisons defeated 15th-ranked Abilene Christian in 1999.

Sophomore Kristen Celsor scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Lady Bisons. She made four 3-pointers and added six rebounds and three assists. Senior Sierra Rollins had 18 points and seven rebounds, and freshman Tabitha Haney had 13 points and five assists.

The victory over Arkansas Tech was Harding's second straight. The Lady Bisons bounced back from an 80-76 overtime loss at Ouachita Baptist on Thursday with a 60-56 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday at Rhodes Field House.

Celsor also led Harding in scoring in that game with 18 points. Rollins had 14 points and nine rebounds and Haney added 11 points and three assists.

The Lady Bisons are 11-5 overall and 4-2 in GAC play, good for second place in the nine-team conference. Harding is back in action with a pair of home games this week. The Lady Bisons take on Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday and Henderson State on Saturday with both games tipping off at 5:30 p.m.

Harding men's basketball picked up one win in three games over the last week. The victory was a 73-53 triumph over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Senior Kirk Porter came off the bench to lead Harding with 16 points and added six rebounds and five assists. Zach Roddenberry scored 14 points and Weston Jameson scored 13.

The Bison losses came at Ouachita Baptist and at Arkansas Tech. Jeff Morgan's team is 8-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The squad is also in action at home against Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday and Henderson State on Saturday. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.

Head coach Steve Guymon's Harding track and field teams are back in action indoors Friday and Saturday at the ASTATE Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark. Action begins Friday at the Convocation Center at 4 p.m. and continues Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Bisons and Lady Bisons are both ranked 15th in the NCAA Division II South Central Region.

Friday night in Searcy will be Harding's Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony as 14 new members will enter the Hall of Fame beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Heritage Center Founders Room. For ticket information contact Brenda Seawel at 501-279-4770.
